2018
2018 - The Spark
The Spark. Tonbridge. A Masters student, home for the summer from Southampton and a newly qualified teacher, setting up her classroom, cross paths at Fuggles Beer Café. A drink thrown over Laura and she knew he was a keeper.
2019
2019 - The Promotion
The Promotion. A quick trip to a Prague A&E department for Laura on their first holiday. Southampton welcomes Callum for his PhD with open arms with the condition of 2 years in Singapore.
2020
2020 - The Challenge
The Challenge. Like the rest of the world, Callum and Laura faced the isolation and uncertainty of the pandemic, taking shelter in Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells with their parents and for Callum his brothers too. A time that was unexpected, but many happy memories formed. 15 weeks later they were finally reunited, a walk along the Woodland Walk in Tonbridge.
2021
2021 - The Global Gap
The Global Gap. Callum travels East to Singapore; Laura heads to the bright lights of Dubai. Proof that true love isn't just about being in the same room - it's about holding on from across the globe. Making core life long friends along the way.
2022
2022 - The Reconnection
The Reconnection. Travel lanes finally open up! The joy of reuniting through long-awaited visits between Singapore and Dubai provides the momentum they need to keep looking forward.
2023
2023 - The Reunion
The Reunion. Callum lands back in the UK, after a visit to an American conference, trip to Bali, and a final trip to Dubai. Securing a contracting job with AstraZeneca and finding their first "us" space in Shortlands, Laura returned to the UK, following a tour of North America, and finally, they are under the same roof. 5 years in the making.
2024
2024 - The Foundation
The Foundation. They stop renting and start building, buying their first home together in Orpington and the renovations start. The icing on the cake being celebration of Callum graduating and becoming Dr. Waller.
2025
2025 - The Milestone
The Milestone. On 16th April, the view from the Shangri-La in London provided the perfect backdrop for a life-changing question and a very happy "Yes."
2026
2026 - The Wedding
The Wedding. August 7th at Penshurst Place - the day we say "I do."
